Foolish People are Brillant, Hands down, this is our review/impressions of their work:
‘Fuck Theatre - sorry it’s an antiquated notion - antiquated notions are good for drawing from as a source for making revisions to but all in all theatre is stale. Television is two-dimensional lightwave mind control and a horrible consensus reality projector that will keep you trapped in an artifical Malkuth instantly - movies the same but on a larger budget usually. Video games are interactive pre-established mythos that you are forced to work through in a semi-linear format, bullshit event activation and predicatable triggering mechanisms that require constant obstruction and thus create a duality between the experiencer and the experience in that regard, one of constant struggle - like the two contending forces at the inverted crown of the Qlippoth. Hence the inherent violence in the medium dating all the way to the pre-8-bit days. Discontent with the media feed we have streamlined into our assemblage point creation then just what the fuck is left for us to draw inspiration from in the sorta way cartoons provided our minds Ketheric overloads on Saturday morns in the merryment of childhood….Comics have been getting alot of credit lately, that’s good it will influence the kid but it’s still hard to convey the theory in that medium, ever talk to a non-occultist who read the invisibles and didn’t have their paradigm effected by it? It’s a bad Segway-in but FP is a fucking brillant shining bastion of an element of pure magick within a desolate landscape of half-arsed efforts towards understanding in art and media. An interactive enviorment is established by which a synthesis of the singular mind of FP becomes a slice of the Egregore oriented magick in which the audience is encapsulated in the Kia-geofield manipulations on subtle planes practiced by FP as they establish their ritual enviorment. In an operation like this the audience and their receptivity is quite key as, in a basic metaphor, the 3rd party perception is the firing of the hypersigil in the electronuerons of the audience mind, the same is true of all magickal art with macrocosmic aims, it needs a vessel of receptivity. The energy imprinted in the enviorment is astounding as the actors assume their extradimensional roles by way of channeling the archetypes they truely become; archetypes stemming from a source of primal chaos. They all come from magickal backgrounds and arts as different as these archetypes from the neopantheons they are presenting us with in these narratives. In spite of this and all their indivual accomplishments, they form an egoless entity invoking the Ain Sophic notion of the zero; their intent singular and brillant as it strips away your daily entrappings and bring you to dimensional realms beyond your average 4th-5th dimensional experiences on the so called astral planes. The sheer amount of energy invested into every pivital moment of the play builds atmospheric conditions for truely enacting transmutations of high alchemical magick; a transmutation of the microcosmic Qabbalah of the each audience member open to receive it. ‘Paradigm shift’ is a played out cliche’ term. It seems as we move further towards a true singulairty (and you probably have longer to wait than five years to be honest) the notion replacing our played out psycho babble words of antiquity is that of indivuals reaching a level of self-made ipssissimus-like levels of gnosis with the Tao, they will look outwardly to the world and feel the need to evoke the gifts which they have been bestowed by nodes of carefully crafted evolutionary catalyst - Foolish People are pioneers in this field. Working entirely off of the love of their art, they manifest their vision and overcome all obstacle through a unity formed out of an egoless point mirroring the love felt at the cosmic party of Tiphareth. The feeling and experience of the audience is subjective and crafted synchronisticly. What you determine you take away is the role you are assigned to play. There is no way to itterate the feeling during or after a ritual working constructed by these potent practitioners of occulterart warfare. There is a sense in everyone something has changed, and it has, there is intent in place, masked with clever writing, on-point acting, and that charmingly wicked British humor. Knowledge conveyed in experience, knowledge overcome - a transmutation past the semi-Sephira of Da’ath for those down for the ride. In an operation of this nature not only must the ego be destroyed but the shadow self integrated into the whole - self sacrfice, a facet which I’ll argue distinguishes one class of magicians from another, is endlessly apparent in every ounce of energy they undulate outwardly into the audience changing the perceivers very subatomic waveform composition. There are terrifying moments when Foolish People guide you through the underworld with their light as your beacon and other times where they cast you into regions outside of our 11 Dimensional structures in acts of ritualist transmutation. They understand this balance is key as duality is mechanism of our evolution. They carry on a long standing tradition which has been neglected since the fall of the Golden Dawn, save for mayhaps Jodorowsky’s work in film, of portrayal through assumption of magickal roles masked as entertainment - and in this case entertainment as warfare on outdated thoughtforms lingering in the collectives mind. The last resurgence and defining example of this is typified by the trio of Florence Farr, Annie Hornimann, and William Butler Yates in their egyptian ritualistic theatre around a century ago - I look upon each of them and see these monumental magicians of theatre from yesteryear reflected in the cast. These were the upper echeleon of the Golden Dawn after the succession from Mathers and his tyrrany. FP embodies this same revolutionary spirit as well. They’re ready to destroy your dystopian dreams in favor of days where we have transcended that which is keeping us bound to these material trappings. Singular interface networks of conciousness - the Great Work? And that reminds me, Fuck your performance art - FP is magick and that’s what we came here for whether we argue about it or not. FP is beyond the predispositions we hold, whether you believe or not, once there in the metaphorical circle they’ve cast around the enviorment you know something potent is unfolding before you, for those with eyes to see, I suggest it resembles the moment the lotus bursting into blossom. Art on the inside, Blood on the outside - if you are not sacrificing for you art and magick it is lifeless and begging to be infused with a portion of what you are given from out of the depths of the nothingness and beyond - Foolish People know this and their work resounds their experience in it’s potency, divinity, and splendorous beauty.’
